    Question

    i dont have much residential work expeniance but someone asked me to do a service change for them. it is a 60 amp to 100 amp. i would likw to do it in rigid pvc up the wall to the peak of the house. is this ok. i think it is but not positive.

    Sure it's ok as long as you have the proper clearances and support. If you have a code book check out section 6.
    I'm not sure if B.C. issues a Standata (monthly or quarterly bulletin??) but there may be special rules or easements that apply to your area, so it may be a good idea to check it out. If you don't have the info it may be a good idea to check with your inspection dept.Here is a link you can try,I didn't check it out myself but I did notice a section on the electrical safety act for B.C. http://www.qp.gov.bc.ca/statreg/list_statreg_e.htm
